About #HealTheVote Campaign
America has one of the highest populations of people with old records, affecting over 70 million people. There are more than 40,000 legal restrictions, known as collateral consequences, that influence the stability of communities nationwide. People with old records across the country are uniting to #HealTheVote by getting 100,000 people with records to vote this election, and demand that public officials commit to a new, effective approach to public safety.
#HealTheVote is a non-partisan civic engagement and voter education campaign hosted by TimeDone, a program of the Alliance for Safety and Justice.

#HealTheVote Campaign Activities
Voter Mobilization Meetings: TimeDone chapters will incorporate campaign activities and voter education into chapter meetings.
Voter Education & Registration: Identify and connect members to voter registration resources who need to register, update their registration or learn more about their state’s vote by mail opportunities, requirements, and rules to ensure our members know how to and are prepared to vote by mail.
Check Your Registration
Voter Pledge: Get people with records to take the voter pledge.
Issue Education and Outreach: Through SMS, social media, phone banking, digital events, and training provide issue education to members to encourage people with records to get to the polls and #HealTheVote.
How to Vote
This election year, people with old records must raise our voices, so they no longer go unheard or ignored.
We must stand up to demonstrate our strength at the polls and beyond to pave a clear pathway to just and safe communities.
